Jeanna and I went to find the RED PIANO in the woods. We found it. This was a part of the Farm Art in Reedsburg WI. The setting was so beautiful and in the middle of it, there it was. THE RED PIANO. It works too. Rock formation was a huge and so beautiful. WOW. Thanks you Jeanna for telling me about it and going with me. We also stopped at the Wisconsin River. Pelicans and Egrets were floating and flying. Exciting. The flood gates on the dam were open and what a sound. Nice day.
A bit of Color here and there.
Flood gates are open
Anyone know what this is?
On one very hot day in August 2016 my cousin Jeanna and I took a walk around Teideman’s Pond in Middleton WI. The flowers, bees, dragon flies, baby ducks and birds were out having a ball. There were even 2 mating Monarch butterflies. (didn’t know they mated at this time of year, maybe just practicing). Most of all the water lily’s were so beautiful and large. The lily pads were 18″-24″ across and were at least 2 feet tall. The blossoms were the size of a small soccer ball and very beautiful. I have never seen them this large and this tall. I also saw one very large bird holding a fish flying so high I couldn’t identify it. Overall all even though it was very hot and humid, it was a great day.

Phil and I went to the Farmer’s Market very early this Saturday morning. The sun had just come up and the weather was perfect. Produce a plenty. Everything was beautifully displayed and very tempting. Colors of the veggies and the flowers were outstanding.

I had a great time photographing the girls at the park. Some were more cooperative than others and somethings didn’t go as well as others. But that’s how it goes some days. Good job Karis. Some of the little girls enjoyed running bases on the other field. Nina’s friend’s little girl had the most fun. She even slid into home plate. The first time she did it she was very surprised. I’m not sure it was intentional, but she kept doing it and had a happy face on the whole time. Very cute little girl, I’m sorry I forgot her name. Nina you can contact me if you want to get any printed. I don’t print, but if you want, I will write you a permission note to take to a printer of your choice. Most places won’t make prints without my permission.

My friend Mary Steinhofer and I took a ride to the Wisconsin River to hunt for Pelicans. We lucked out. We saw 11 pelicans on the sandbar. (Last year I so at least 50). At first there were 7 then 4 more came and they were not very welcomed. They were chased away, but they kept flying back. They started fighting and ended up winning a small spot on the sandbar.
I hope you enjoy these photos. I had fun taking them.

Poalina I am so sorry. I don’t know how I forgot about these. I must have had the flu or something. I hope that doesn’t mean I can’t take photos of her anymore. Click to enlarge.
