A WALK AROUND STRICKLER’S POND AND TIEDEMAN’S POND MAY 2017

A beautiful day to take a walk around the ponds. I don’t really know my birds but I did see my first blue heron. WOW! Seeing them close up is amazing. I also saw so many turtles I couldn’t even count them. A mama duck with her 11 babies was fun. (Duck in the muck). I wish I would have taken my very large lens and my tripod. I don’t know what I was thinking.         Click photo to enlarge

    Wow, you got a lot of great shots. The color on that masked bird is amazing. I love the turtles.
